What do you do when both of the people you live with are mad at you at the same time? What do you do when you didn't even mean to make one mad but you did? What do you do when your Mom has passed away, your hubby is mad at you and so is your daughter that lives with you? Who do you talk to, or cry to? I called my oldest daughter that lives in Guam. Still tough to take. Do you ever feel as though you have no one to talk to? Because I do. It doesn't happen often, this feeling sorry for myself stuff, but it has happened tonight.
So, here I am at 10:40 pm still crying. Lately I have felt pulled in about 10 different directions. Daddy seems to need me more and more. Robbie is so sick and needs my help too. I have (or try to) have a life here in Georgia, with responsibilities and church obligations as well. Now, Katlyn has gotten married and I know that part of my life is about to change yet again. I don't feel as though I've had enough time with her. I guess her getting married has affected me more than I thought. I will have her for another month while Chris is in California, and then I don't know from there. She is supposed to be looking for an apartment. I have tried to help her and here again, my help no longer seems welcome. She is getting very frustrated with me over the littlest things. One minute she acts like she doesn't need my help and the next she is acting like a 2 year old and not wanting to pay her bills or live up to her responsibilities.
Oh well I guess she'll always need me. I still need my Mama even though I don't have her to talk to anymore, at least not in person. I think that's part of why I am still so upset tonight, because normally I would have been able to call Mama and talk it all out with her. I guess at this point I have to wait to be asked. Boy, is that hard to do again. Sometimes me, being me, lol, I have a hard time doing that.
Well, an unexpected source of comfort has come. Allison sent me a message and we chatted a bit. Nice to hear from another source, someone else a little frustrated from being under appreciated.
Ok, I'm done.

Oh My Goodness
I thought I had lost my blog. I have learned a lot about blogs since I last wrote and so much has happened. I have gone from being a Nana of 3 to a Nana of 6 and Katlyn has become our daughter. I actually thought I had started a post concerning her adoption, but can't seem to find that one.
Gillian was born and I did manage to get that posted. Then Max and Skye were born this year, Max in January and Skye in March. The blessings keep pouring in.
Katlyn's adoption became final on June 2, 2011. She is now in the police academy at Savannah Tech. She's doing very well and we're really proud of her hard work.
Now that I've found my blog again, HAHA, maybe I can remember to post more often.

Its Been a While
Well, I have been wanting to do this more regularly and I guess so far it hasn't happened. I have been to Guam and seen my beautiful new granddaughter since I last wrote. I was gone for 3 weeks and have been home for nearly that long. The first two weeks I was in Guam in rained every day. The last week was a little better. We got to go to the beach once and to the pool a couple of times.
The baby is beautiful and looks very much like her big sister. She weighed 7lb10oz and was 20 1/2" long. Her name is Gillian De Vines. She has dark hair. She is a sweet heart. She doesn't like to be cold. She cries when you change her diaper and when she is hungry.
Kenzie is a great big sister. She helps Carey get diapers and clothes. She likes to give Gillian kisses. And she is willing to share Nana with her, lol. Kenzie and I had a great time doing things together. We went bowling and to play group. We went to the library and we even got to go to the pool one day just me and her.
The last week I was there she didn't want me to leave. She knew the time was coming and she kept asking me why I had to go. She wanted me to stay with her forever and "Aunt Sheryl can stay with Papa and Katlyn", lol. She slept with me the whole time I was there. The last night she practically slept on top of me. I think she figured if she was that close she would know when I got up to leave. But, she didn't. Carey said she was upset because I didn't tell her good bye. But, of course, I did kiss her good bye and tried to get her to hug me, but she was very sleepy and didn't wake up.
My trip home was a nightmare. I got sick with the stomach flu. I threw up the whole entire first flight which was 7 hrs. long. I ended up having to get a wheel chair and they took me through customs and to my next gate. I had to change my clothes, but luckily since I had to go through customs I was able to get some clean pants out of my suit case. I went to the little store at the airport and got some Dramamine. I got the less drowsy kind and waited til I boarded the plane to take it in case I still got sleepy. Thankfully, the seat next to mine was empty and I was able to stretch out and sleep. Basically, I slept the whole rest of the way home, other than when I was changing planes.
After I got home, Donald got me some soup and some drinks, I ate a little soup, got a shower and went to bed. I slept from 7:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m. the next morning. I was awake for about 2 hours and then went back to sleep for 5 more hours. I was awake about 3-4 hours and then slept again all night. This lasted for about 3 days. I was better for 1 day and then woke up on Thursday with a sore throat. I had started with a sinus infection. I waited til Monday the following week to go to the Dr. where I finally got an antibiotic. And, then, it was still a couple of days before I was better.
Since I have been back there have been lots of meetings and activities I have had to attend.
One of the best days I've had since I got back was the Stake Temple Day. It was amazing to see so many people there all at one time. It was awesome to be there with Sharon, John and Mike and Devon. Mike took Granddaddy's name through for his endowments. John did his inititory work before that. It was very special. Sharon and I got to do some inititory work for some family names and Peggy Hickox helped us. I think we got 9 names done before our session started.
Some more big news-Katlyn has moved back in with us. The weekend of Alex and Dorothy's bday party she came over and made the decision to move back in with us. It has been very exciting having her around again. I had forgotten what it was like having a teenager in the house. I have enjoyed her being here and love her like my own.
Well I am tired and its getting late. Katlyn just came back from being gone for the weekend and I want to spend some time with her.
Goodnight.

its Wednesday!
Its been a busy day. I think the hoopla of the last 3 weeks has caught up to me. I'm feeling like a limp dishrag tonite. I slept a little late this morning and then had breakfast with Ruth. It was good to go and talk. After that I went to the church and took down the Christmas tree and put everything away. Then in to the office to work on Visiting Teaching reports and routes. Things are picking up and we are starting to get the hang of things. Every month my goal is to remember to start collecting data the last week of the month. Every month I am the 5th getting things done. But, reports are coming in faster and sisters are better about reporting to their supervisors.
I don't know if anyone reading this would even know what I'm talking about, but its what my day was about today. Donald is eating left overs from last night and I just ate a bowl of ice cream. Well, breakfast of champions has turned into dinner of champions!
Tomorrow I hope to be home more and get presents wrapped and things ready to celebrate Alex and Dorothy's birthdays on Saturday.

Happy New Year!
Hello everyone. This is totally new for me, but I am excited to try it. I have been thinking I needed to write in a journal more often and I hope this will be the encouragement I need.
I am looking forward to a new year and new adventures. First big adventure of the year is a trip to Guam, by myself. I am going for the birth of my 4th grandchild, a girl, named Gillian De. I will be flying through Hawaii this time and I am looking forward to seeing what the state looks like!
Todays biggest adventure was going to Freds for a laptop table and cleaning house and doing laundry. Tonite's dinner was chili made with venison burger.
